Why is a thumbnail not appearing for today's post on my blog homepage?

  Thumbnail is not appearing for today’s post. A thumbnail is appearing for yesterday’s post. This is on my blog home page: http://weallhaveagency.com/

  Is it a problem with the size of the original image or the resolution?

  Please advise – Thanks :)

  Hi there!

  WIth the Oxygen theme, you need to set a featured image for each post separate from the images you add to your post. Here’s a great reference that will show you how to add a featured image:

  One thing to note about your featured images: regular post thumbnails need to be 450 pixels wide. Also, the featured image won’t show up when you click to read a post, only on your homepage.

  With that said, I’m not sure why your first post seemed to have worked and the second did not. But setting a featured image will make it work every time.

  It seemed to work fortunately the original image uploaded was 459 x 465 even though the one displayed is smaller (forgot I had it as reduced percentage).

  So it’s all about setting that Featured Image. No idea why it automatically worked for the other post. Could’ve been something I did then forgot. Anywho….
