Why is a year only eleven months when I pay for WordPress?

  Just paid my 99 dollars, and page said it will renew in eleven months. Eleven months is not a year. What’s the story here?

  We attempt to renew upgrades 30 days before their expiration so that we have time to contact you in case of any problem with the stored payment details.
  Your renewal will be valid through April 8, 2016.
