    Hey there,

You should see a link to pay with PayPal at the bottom of the payment box. It looks like this:
    https://cloudup.com/c0FGSrCq-Tr

Can you confirm whether or not you see that, please?

If you’re not seeing what I am, please take a screenshot, so I can view the issue as you’re seeing it. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.

The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

Just let me know when there’s something I should look at.

    Thanks much.

Hi, I have found a different screen. And I have uploaded the images to my library. the 1st 3 images show you what i am talking about.

    Hi!

Let’s breakdown the screens you’re seeing individually:

    – Image 1 is the normal checkout screen using a credit card on WordPress.com

    – Image 2 is the checkout screen for PayPal. When you click that button, you’re directed to PayPal.com.

    – Image 3 is part of the checkout screen at PayPal. It’s currently asking you to enter card details as a backup. This way, you can continue to use PayPal to make purchases. If the amount of credits on your account wasn’t enough to cover a transaction, your card would be charged. However, if you do have enough credits, your card will not be charged.

To recap, if you have enough credits in PayPal to cover the cost, your card will not be charged. It will just be used as the backup method of payment within PayPal.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.

But my issue is that I do not have a credit card and mu debit card isn’t recognised by PayPal. Does that mean I cannot make this purchase at all?

It looks like PayPal requires a back-up payment method in place in order to make the payment through PayPal. What error is it giving you when you try to enter your debit card? You may be able to contact PayPal directly and ask why the debit card isn’t being accepted. Alternatively, by clicking Money in the top bar at PayPal, you should be able to link a bank account (through account and routing number) to use as a backup method of payment.

If that doesn’t work, would you be able to use your debit card to make the purchase at WordPress.com instead of going through PayPal?
