Why is an Amazon book ad on my blog post when I access it via my smartphone?

  Hi there,

  When I look up my blog on my smartphone (an LG Optimus), there is a big banner for a book ad at the top of my latest posting. When I click on the ad, it takes me to Amazon to buy the book. Why is this? How did this ad end up in my blog, and who can I contact about removing it?

  WordPress.com has been running ads on our free hosted blogs since 2006. If you want them to be eliminated there is a No-Ads upgrade you can purchase. http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

  You don’t see the ads if you are logged in.
