why is an inactive page showing in google search results?

  if I google “veler construction nashville, one of the top links is to an inactive page on my website about sustainable construction. If you just go to my regular site there isn’t a link for that page anywhere on it. Why is it showing up in the search results and why is it viewable?

  Google and BIng clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months or so. The cached content is viewable in their caches.
