Why is Event Espresso listed as an incompatible plugin?
-
Hey team,
I am curious as to why Event Espresso is listed as an incompatible plugin on this page:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/incompatible-plugins/#miscellaneousCan you please offer recommendations to make it compatible?
Thanks!

Hi Seth –
This site isn’t using WordPress.com. For help with shoultes.net you will wan to visit the community at https://wordpress.org/support/
Rather than WordPress.com the site is using the open source, WordPress software – these are 2 different versions of WordPress.

Hi there,
Sorry, but that doesn’t answer my question, as I don’t need help with shoultes.net. I’m not sure how that got there, as I didn’t add it and I couldn’t remove that after posting. Is that something that is included in my profile?
Anyways, back to my original question:
I am curious as to why Event Espresso is listed as an incompatible plugin on this page:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/incompatible-plugins/#miscellaneousCan you please offer reasons why it is incompatible with WordPress hosting? Is there a security issue with the plugin? Is it a caching related issue? Something else?

Hi Seth! It is a caching related issue; we’ve tried several things to exclude caching on certain pages, it and still seem to have trouble.
I want to say I’ve seen a note saying we’ve reached out to the developers there about getting a test site so we can work this out. Can you double check, and if that didn’t happen, let me know? I’ll reach out via email to set that up.

Ah ha, thanks!
I don’t recall seeing anything about, neither does the rest of the team. Please feel free to email me at seth [at] eventespresso.com or the email on this account works as well.
Thanks again!
