Why is Facebook not allow links to content from wordpress – June 7, 2012?

  Facebook is not allowing links to WordPress content this morning, stating that links to files.wordpress.com is dangerous or spammy. Any idea what the problem may be?

  Where did you get this “dangerous or spammy” information? Facebook is just the worst. So many bloggers complaining about this today in related Forum posts, and I am just experiencing the same problem myself. Is it a WP issue, or truly a FB “discretionary” thing? Which is why I am curious as to how/where you heard the info you cite. Thanks…

  It was coming from FB. Try posting again. I just got mine to “stick”.

  We’re sorry for the trouble!

  The block is definitely Facebook’s end, and we’re trying to work with them to resolve this.

  This should be all fixed up now, though it may take some time for Facebook to return to the old Publicized posts to your wall.
