Why is Front Page same as Welcome page?

  Hi,
  I know that we have the option to have a static Front Page, which I have chosen, but when I choose a static front page, on the links – at the top of the website screen – both Front Page and my static page appear there… In other words, they are the same page, so if/when a reader clicks on either one of them, they get the same information. Is there any way I can reduce the clutter at the top and only have one?
