Why is Google is keeping me from using my WordPress Identity!
-
When Google merged EVERYTHING it has for Me on the web, from an old Blogger profile called, Paulette S., my YouTube craftqueen417 and Google+, I quit being able to use my WordPress Identity or URL while commenting on Blogger Blogs, on average 2 out of 10 slip through. I’m having to type my email and WP blog url in the body of the comment every time, it’s so frustrating.
My non existent blog called, paulettespretties.blogspot.com, was imported to WP in 2012 by WordPress for me. And I thought I was done with Blogger.
The Blogger profile is still in Limbo somehow and inspite of multiple requests via their feedback and help system I can not get the right help. The email address on it is no longer active and no matter how many times I edit it, the changes do not stick (they pretend to in the moment) but when I check on them later, ALL of the information has been flipped back to the old inaccurate information. And if they are mailing me at that closed email with their help, which is parr for their course, I won’t get them. Wouldn’t it make good sense for people to have control of their own content?
I’m too old for this technology. I’ve had a mirad of issues with ALL of my Google information on everything I have with them, from empty YouTube account with my adult daughter’s gmail which was added by mistake from my ipad, they would not correct it or let me edit it, so I closed that email account, finally put my active email back in there only to discover in doing so, I’ve created another YouTube channel that I don’t need and will not use. And althought my current email address shows on my log in for Google, it did not change it on the Blogger side, I did eventually find a place in my Google acct to remove something that said, WordPress to Blogger, and it disappeared and I thought this would solve my problem.
I’m just a paper crafter who likes to share what I purchase for this craft and crafting tutorials, so I don’t know what the hang up is. I’m sure they can see everything I’ve done in the course of 3 years I’ve been using YouTube. This mess all started when they tried to force us to use a real name instead of a nickname. My husband and I had previuosly had some identity theft, so I try not to use my full name via the web.
Is there a way to disconnect the Blogger Profile page from my WordPress blog on the WP side?
Thanks, Paulette S.
