Why is Google using my tags on search results?

  Hello WordPress.com Forums,

  I need troubleshooting for my site: https://www.miamitreecutters.com/

  When I do a google search for “Cocoplum tree service” my site appears on the first page of the SERP, but it shows the word “tag” next to my site. This is happening to a few of my posts. How do you remove the word “tag” or avoid google displaying the tags I use?

  Please consider that I am using wordpress.com. Thanks in advance for your help.

  The only way to hide that on the site currently would be to just not include tags.

  If you upgrade to a paid Business or eCommerce plan, you’ll have access to the tools needed to further customize that.

  Thank you. This tag problem seems to be fairly new. I have other wordpress.com sites with the same problem. If I leave the posts without the tags, will Google still index the post?

  Yes, Google does not require tags to index your content.
