Why is InterYield being clicked on from my blog?
-
Today in my blog stats, it showed that several people had clicked on a link called interyield.jmp9.com. Then I checked my summaries and found that there have been a lot ore clicks on that same link. A quick google search showed that interyield.jmp9.com is a pop-up ad. I have purchased the no-ad upgrade, so I am wondering why people who are viewing my blog are seeing a pop-up ad. Can you tell me what is going on here? Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Still getting clicks on InterYield. Any ideas? I really do not want to have ads on my site!

Hi. Unfortunately, this popup is malware that is infecting some of your reader’s PCs. It doesn’t come from your WordPress.com site. However, because their computers are infected, the popup is appearing when viewers are looking at your blog. It probably pops up when they’re browsing other websites as well.
Here’s some more information about the malware and how to remove it.

There’s nothing to be done on your end, but needs to be done on readers’ individual computers.

Thank you for your response. So, just to clarify, even though the popup does not come from my wordpress.com site, clicking on it still shows up as a click in my stats?

Yup. Unfortunately, while it comes from the browser, not WordPress.com, it’s still read by our system as a click that takes a visitor away from your site to another address.
Malware developers are fiendish, aren’t they?
