why is it displaying 'my' comments in widget sidebar?

I’m pretty sure i’ve said ‘hide’ if author is seonvenville (me), yet it’s still displaying my comments on the menu page sidebar… I’d prefer if the comments displayed on that were just other peoples’ comments (not my replies) – how can i change this?

Hi there,
It looks like there has been some misunderstanding. Please note that the Visibility settings that you set was for you Comments widget. This means that for any posts written by your username will not show the entire Comments widget on that page as seen here:

You wouldn’t be able to hide comments made by yourself in that widget alone. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

thanks for your help – so what i’m requesting isn’t available to do..? is it any different if i upgraded or still the same..?
another question i have is whether or not i am able to set up a gallery type page (just with photos), that i can continually add to – almost like blog posts, but with just photos instead (and maybe some writing, but not much) … is this possible? if not, is it possible with an upgrade..?

No unfortunately.

So you can add a gallery to any post or page:
You can then edit it to add more, or add another gallery underneath/above. It’d be up to you.
