Why is it so hard to get to a happiness engineer?
-
I don’t see why I can only post a question/suggestion on a public forum. I tried to click ‘need help’ and keep getting thrown back into community support. That ought to be fixed. But what I really wanted to discuss is that recently I’ve accidentally trashed two comments people have made on my blog. Any way of getting them back? Suggestion: rather than just trashing something, maybe have it put in a prompt that says, ‘Do you really want to trash this comment? Yes or no.’ I can’t believe I’m the only one who has done this stupid thing. And both comments were good and I wanted to respond to them. Hate to think I’ve offended my readers.

Possibly. Unless you empty the trash folder, the trashed comments can be restored within 30 days of the original trashing. Just click on the trash tab at your comments page, hover over a comment to display the options, and click on “Restore.”
