Why is it suddenly difficult to go to my usual 'compose' page?

Dear ‘Happiness Engineer’,
Suddenly most of the ‘new post’ buttons available on my dashboard now take me, not to my usual ‘compose page’, but to a very annoying ‘Beep beep boop’ thing and the ‘Reader’ page with it’s nasty little composition box. I have found that the only way to get to my usual one is via the ‘map pin’ icon and ‘new post’ on the left-hand menu, all others take me to ‘reader’. Also, after publishing a post, if I need to ‘edit’ it – that goes to ‘reader’ as well. This really IS annoying!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I understand that you’re frustrated with this change. We’ve added a button to the top of the new editor that will direct you back to the old editor.
And I’m more than happy to pass on any specific bugs or functionality issues that you’re having.

Well Shawna J, that’s something I suppose.
So, I’ll have to sit and watch the bouncing balls and ‘cute’ boopy boopy nonsense until the page loads, then click to go to the larger editor where I can actually read what I’m writing?
You haven’t been taken over by Yahoo have you? This is what happened to Flickr when Yahoo took over and made it more difficult to use and added childish pop-up remarks at every opportunity.
How about after I’ve clicked to choose the old editor you remember my choice for my subsequent posts? Now that would be useful… -
