Why is it taking to long to import from Xanga?

    It’s been more than a week since I have started downloading the Xanga file and it’s still processing until now.

    Sometimes the importer gets stuck. I tagged this thread for Staff assistance and they will reset the importer for you. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

    Hi there,

    It looks like your import failed completely. We have reset the importer and you should now be able to make another attempt. Please let me know if you run in to any other troubles.

    Hi, thank you so much for your help. But, it still says that my previous import from Xanga is still “Processing…” and “We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.”

    I’ll try to check again later if you’ve already re-set it. The blog I need help with is http://mybestsellingnovel.wordpress.com

    That’s very strange! It didn’t fully cancel last time. I have now made sure that it cancelled out fully. Thank you for letting me know!

    Hi! I hate to be back here with the same problem but after you reset the Import from Xanga thing, I re-uploaded the same file and now, about a week later, it says it’s still processing. I think it’s stuck again. I hope you reset it again if that’s the problem. I won’t try to re-upload that file (maybe that’s what’s causing the problem?) but I still have a few other files from Xanga that I need to import/upload. Thanks!

    Yes, if it has been a week please by all means let us know! In fact if it’s been even a couple of days please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can take a look.

    I have reset your importer again and you are free to try a different file. Let me know if this one gives you trouble as well. You may need to get a new export from Xanga but I’ll be happy to take a look.
