I need help to add a badge to my blog. I have also needed help for other things. It seems that here at wordpress you have different names for things than other sites. Also it seems that all instructions are meant for people way more versed in computer language than I am!

On the bottom of your Dashboard of your blog you will find these links:
<p id=”footer-left”>Thank you for creating with WordPress | Support | Forums | Learn WordPress — Tutorials and Walkthroughs</p>The support link takes you to wordpress.com support documentation and if you use the searchbox there the results provide links to not only the documentation results but also to all support forum threads on the same issue.
The tutorial will assist you step by step with the leaning curve involved in adapting to using new software.
I need help to add a badge to my blog.
I will help you with placing a badge on your site. Is it just an image you want to post and then link it to another site? If so you can use these directions to upload the image and link it. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/
If you wish you can palce the code for the badge either in an image widget or text widget and it will display in your sidebar.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/If you have a specific code for this badge and you post it here in this forum thread we can provide instructions. You can post code into forum threads in between backtick ( ` ) characters. The backtick is found on the key to the left of the numbver 1 Key on your keyboard. It’s the same key the tilde ~ is found on in lower case. Do not confuse it with the single quotation mark. The format is backtick code backtick.

What is the difficulty you’re having? That code looks perfectly simple. Where are you trying to put it? In a text widget in the sidebar?
