Why is jetpack showing inaccurate stats?

  My Jetpack site stats has started showing unusually low numbers that don’t reflect the typical page views I get for my blog. They also, don’t reflect my google analytics stats (even though these two are never the same, but there is not correlating decrease on that analytics site). What could cause this? Is there a way to check why this is happening?

  Hi Kaila,

  As you mentioned, your Google Analytic stat numbers will likely never match your Jetpack stats due to some differences in how we collect stat information. It does look like your stats have gone down a bit. However, I don’t think that this is indicative of the stats being broken. The stats appear to be recording correctly, and the levels aren’t out of normal range for your site (similar levels were hit on October 2nd).

  If you notice the stats stop recording for any reason (you have 0 visitors for a particular day). Please let us know!
