  Hi there!

  Are you seeing a 110 connection error when you visit your site? Or are you having some other trouble?

  If you’re seeing the connection error, could you provide us with the following information to help us investigate?

  1. Who is your ISP?
  2. What is your IP? (Visit https://www.google.com/#q=whats+my+ip)
  3. Can you visit these four sites and let me know if you can access any of them?
     • http://dfw.wordpress.com/
     • http://sat.wordpress.com/
     • http://iad.wordpress.com/
     • http://wordpress.com/

  Hi Shawna,

  Yes, it’s a 110 connection error.

  My ISP is Sky.

  My IP address is 2.127.194.96

  I cannot visit: http://dfw.wordpress.com, http://sat.wordpress.com, http://iad.wordpress.com

  I CAN visit wordpress.com

  Many thanks for replying. I hope you can fix this… I was hoping to post this evening!

  Thanks for that info! I think we should have this fixed now. Can you try clearing your cache:

  Solve Common Browser Issues

  And let me know if you still can’t access your site or those other sites I gave you links to.

  Hi Shawna,

  No. I still cannot access my site, or the URLs you listed.

  (I’ve cleared my cache and deleted wordpress cookies).

  I browse with Safari but iOS and Chrome cannot access either.

  Hi John,

  Thanks for confirming. It was nothing you did. We have some automated security measures in place that prevent access from IP addresses that are seen as abusive or possibly harmful to WordPress.com. Sky, your ISP, routes traffic to the USA (and possibly other countries) for many of their customers over a small number of IP addresses, so in this case, one bad actor on Sky’s network caused multiple Sky customers to get blocked from accessing WordPress.com. We have identified the IP addresses in question and worked around this issue for now. Again, very sorry for the trouble but glad things are working now.
