Why is linked image not full size?

I’ve inserted a large image into a post and want it to link to the full size version. When I click on the image, one that is the same size appears on a black background. (See http://spacecolour.wordpress.com/2010/04/21/self-portrait-1-jill-preston/)
Is there a way that I can change this so that the full-size image appears?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Oh – it seems a bit odd to make the user click twice to get the larger image. I guess there’s no way for me to change that, is there?

Mozilla Firefox will by default resize images as you browse the Web to fit within the browser’s viewport. There’s nothing we can do about this from the WordPress side.
