Why is my "about author" not showing?
-
I want my about page to show like this-
http://runandjumpblog.wordpress.com/How come there’s no “Home”, “Contact” -or- “About” page on my blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Presumably because that is a different theme. Either you have not created an About static page and a Contact page OR the theme does not have a tabbed header at all, no matter how many pages you create.

How do you create an About static Page, Contact page, or a tabbed header? I’m still fairly new here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

All support docs are here http://support.wordpress.com
Create a Page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#create-a-new-page
Create a custom menu > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/Very few themes have an author profile that displays below every post. The data is derived from here > Dashboard > Users > My profile > About You (section) and anything you add there appears on your Gravatar profile page as well.
The point of displaying an author name is to differentiate the posts on an multi-author site. Regardless of the theme, and provided the theme is designed to display a byline, bylines will only display now if there are at least two authors who both have at least one published post in the blog. There’s a single author workaround here.
