The draft of my post is in regular text. When its posted, it’s in italics. How can I fix that? Thanks.

Hi there,
It looks like the Blockquote icon was selected in the visual editor.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-1Try highlighting the text and remove the formatting by clicking on the Blockquote icon.
Let us know if you need more help.

Did you change the font recently?
If not, I would just try to edit the post, highlight the text, click the italics shortcut on top and then probably press it again to make sure it’s unchecked.

I wasn’t aware that blockquote turns everything into italics? It certainly doesn’t here in the support forum. Personally I would click on “My Posts” “Those darn Speedbumps” and use the visual editor to edit that particular post by clicking on the “italic” button fifth along the top row to turn on/off italics.

You can go back and edit https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/#go-back-and-edit-posts as themagicrobot indicated. In the visual editor https://en-support.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/visual-editor-tab1.png?w=631&h=198 the Italics icon is number 4 https://en-support.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/row-1.png?w=570&h=82
However, if this is a case of copying and pasting text from somewhere else you will have to switch editors https://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/#switching-editors and remove the code in the HTML editor.
