Why is my blog so slow?

  I’m finding that my blog (http://www.anoushkaprobyn.biz/apblog/) takes a really long time to load even though its new so there is very little content. WordPress itself also takes a long time when I’m customizing my blog. Is there any way to speed it up? I’m not going to get many readers if nothing ever loads!
