Why is my comment text box constantly resizing as I type (in the Writr theme)?

    Dear WordPress,

    I have just switched to the Writr theme, and am quite happy with it, but have just discovered one big problem:

    I and several readers of my blog — all using different browsers, computers, and operating systems — have noticed that if you type long comments into the comment text box on posts, once the comment becomes bigger than the box itself than it starts constantly resizing as you type, and/or placing the line you’ve just typed under the bottom of the text box so to speak, and so on. As one reader quite rightly put it, it is infuriating, and it is a big problem on a blog like mine where readers often leave comments running into thousands of words.

    As more than one person has reported this problem to me like I said, then I’m going to wager it’s a bug in the theme, not a problem with my particular blog. Either way, if WordPress could resolve it as soon as possible, then I would really appreciate it!

    Hi James,

    Thanks for reporting this issue! We had another report of the same issue and we reproduced it on our end, so it does look like this is an issue with the Writr theme itself. Our team is looking into it now to try to resolve this. Please stay tuned for a fix! :)
