Why is my custom header in Modularity Lite displaying a question mark in Safari?
-
I have added the following to my CSS stylesheet:
#header-image {
background: url(“http://blueflamecollective.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/BFC_Header_6.jpg”) no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
height: 29px;
}It looks how I want it in Firefox, but in Safari is showing up a question mark where the header usually is. Even when I had no image inserted into the CSS, there was still a question mark in Safari only. I have searched on forums and realise this was a known problem with the theme, however I think that in the last post, it showed that staff had fixed it?

I’ve just replaced it with another header image via the dashboard, so at least the question mark is gone, but I’m still hoping to find a better fix, as I want a shorter header than the automated one.

I checked http://blueflamecollective.com/ and I found that site is setup using WordPress software, but it is not hosted here at WordPress.com. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ to learn about the differences.
Support for WordPress.org sites is done at http://wordpress.org/support/
If you need help with a different blog such as http://blueflamecollective.wordpress.com/ can you please add back your custom CSS and reply back here with the URL where we can see the problem in action?
