Why is my custom header not showing up?

When I upload it, it says “Thanks view your page to see it” or whatever, and then it shows up in the section where it shows my custom header that I’m using, but it won’t show up on my actual page? What could be the problem?

Have you reloaded the actual page, possibly clearing your browser cache? What theme are you using? What’s the image size? A link to your blog would help us out.

It said 770 x 140, and that’s the exact size of my header.

Using firefox 2.0.0.6 I see a black and white header with a female image on the right hand side and fluorescent green lettering. Which browser and version of it are you using?

Yeah, I’m using FireFox also (not sure which one but it says there’s no updates available so I’m guessing the newest version) and also tried looking it up in IE but it’s still not showing. I cleared my cache also. :( This is weird.

I see the same as Timethief. Very funky header! It is very strange that it’s not showing on your computer. Maybe try a shut down and restart? That’s my last-ditch advice, but sometimes it clears things up.

Very weird, I tried those tips you gave me timethief, but it still wasn’t showing up. So… I decided to jump on my laptop just to try something different, and of course it shows up! I’m still wondering why my PC won’t though. :( I guess I will just work off of my laptop instead, thanks a lot guys!!

I am having similar problem to above. My custom header actually appeared for a time but then disappeared. The image is plenty small, it does show up on the compose page just as it should, and it says I should see it on the blog. Firefox or Safari makes no difference. Mas OS X. There are widespread problems today (categories, images, headers, etc.) and staff are working on fixing them. It’s possible your blog has been impacted by them. Please be patient while staff work to rectify the situation. :)

On<steadyhabits.wordpress.com> the header now displayed is not the correct one; I just tried to upload a different version which does not show up.
At <rightofmiddle.wordpress.com> the header image has completely disappeared, replaced by a blank blue space.

Hi.
My custom header image at http://larryaronson.wordpress.com has also disappeared. I Cleared my cache, did everything.
Question: I’m working remotely and don’t have my header image on this machine but it is one of my uploaded images that I can see in Dashboard-Manage-uploads. How can I assign this image to be my custom image header without downloading from the dashboard and uploading it again?
