Why is my customize theme page not loading?

  My customize theme page is not loading. This could be because I accidentally deleted the homepage that was set. I created it again, but I guess the system would not be able to recognise it just by the name. Now the problem is that the homepage is blank and I am unable to change this because the customize page will not load (It’s been showing ‘Loading design tools…’ for about an hour and all other functionality in WordPress is working).

  Hi there,

  You are running the theme Clean Home. You will not be able to modify the theme or the CSS unless you purchase the Custom Design upgrade. More information on that upgrade can be found here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/ .

  You can set your homepage in your Dashboard under Settings > Reading to either display your blog posts or an existing page of your choosing. This is explained at http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ .

  Hi,

  I am actually running the theme Oxygen and was previously able to make changes to the theme with no problem (we’re just talking about setting the homepage location here).

  Hi there,

  Changing settings in your Dashboard is different than making changes to the theme itself.

  We may be discussing the wrong blog. Can you post a link to the blog in question? Are you having issues setting your front page, as I described in my previous response, or something else?

  Hi,

  The problem has seemed to have solve itself as the Customize page is now loading up again.
