why is my @ displaying boldlyfuzzyf95803e9fd?
-
I have no idea where the following @ came from. This is not my wordpress username. Is this a hack or an automatically generated username by Gravitar? I need to change it and I don’t know how.
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: Yes
Correct account: NoThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You created the wordpress.com account boldlyfuzzyf95803e9fd yourself only 1 week ago on Apr 17, 2025
We can’t help with your site as it is registered at Godaddy and hosted by Bluehost – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://blackbeez.com

I did not create that account name. It may have been generated by Gravitar. It is not a username associated with my WP account. I did not create it. It should not be associated with Jetpack either.
-
No matter what you think, you created that username yourself on Apr 17, 2025. You yourself approved that username and confirmed the wordpress.com account.
If you have another wordpress.com account, log out from current and log in to your other wordpress.com account.

It appears to be associated with Gravitar. How do I close the account if I can’t login to it? It is not associated with my wordpress account. When I click on Jetpack in wordpress, this account comes up, but this account is not in my wordpress users.
-
I did not create this user on Apr 17, but I did attempt to create a Gravitar on that date

I would not create a username called boldlyfuzzy… It is ridiculous. I didn’t create this, and I’m not sure how to change it. Log out where? On gravitar? I am not logged into this anywhere on wordpresss.
-
It seems to be coming from Gravitar. That is where I see it, but I didn’t enter the name and I can’t seem to change it.
-
Perhaps Gravitar didn’t accept the username that I entered, and it generated this… I don’t know.

Hi there, if you want to use this WordPress.com/Gravatar account, but want to change your username, you can follow this guide. https://wordpress.com/support/change-your-username/ Please read all the cautions before doing that so you are aware of possible ramifications.
If you don’t need this WordPress.com/Gravatar account for anything, like Jetpack, and would prefer to delete the account, here’s how you do that https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/
