Why is my e mail address and name appearing in comments when I post an article?

  Hi! I am in the process of setting up a blog. I have not posted articles to it yet because when I do my alternate e mail address and name appear publicly below the comment box. This remains whether I am logged on to WordPress or logged out. Thanks for any help with this.

  Hi Kardotim, there is no link because I have deleted the articles I posted on my blog. Currently, there are no articles posted on my blog. Each time I have attempted to post on my blog, my gravatar, e mail address and name appear in the fields below the comment box at the end of the article. Thanks.

  It seems your browser remembered this information and pre-filled that into the comment form. Please note that these personal details were only visible to you, but not publicly.

  Could you please try clearing out your browser’s cache and cookies?

  I looked at the link you provided and I cannot see your email address anywhere on the page.

  What you are seeing information pre-filled by your browser, and the information is not actually appearing publicly on the blog.
