Why is my existing page giving a 'page not found' error?’

Hello, I am using a theme for my WordPress site. I have used this for a few years with no problem but now I get the “Page Not Found” error when I try to edit the page. The page shows up on my website, I click “edit” and I get Page Not found. I found a long thread where you were able to fix the problem but never explained how to fix it.

I’m afraid that we won’t be able to help because your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
