Why is my Home page not found?

  Hi there. I designed a front page (first page you see of website) in the Twenty Ten theme (labeled Home.)

  I made an edit to the page’s content and now I am getting the “Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.”

  When I do not set ‘Home’ as my static front page (under ‘Reading’) and make my recent posts my front page, my blog finds the ‘Home’ page (it’s part of my menu navigation.)

  So, in other words, my custom front page / home page is not found when it is set as such — but the page is still visible in the editor and when it is treated as an ordinary page (not as my Static front page.)

  Any assistance in solving this will be greatly appreciated… thanks!

  I’m sorry this happened – we have fixed this problem. Can you reload your blog and let us know if this is now fixed?

  Yes, there was a programming error, but we were able to revert the change.
