Why is my home page not loading with my web address?

  I put in the address for my site, and I get “Nothing Found: Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.” but my site is there, and the links are available. Why is it not automatically loading my home page?

  What is the URL of the website you are referring to? The homepage of http://smwitkowski.wordpress.com/ is loading and displaying correctly. The “Nothing Found…” message indicates that a. your settings tell WP to display your latest posts on the front page, and b. you evidently have no published posts. On the other hand, several pages are accessible via the header navigation menu.

  If you wish to place a static page on the front page, you may do so at Settings > Reading. But before you do so you should probably create another page with no content, so that you can assign it to display your posts (if you choose to publish any) at Settings > Reading..
