Which post? I see them all there, but note that the ones tagged to show in the featured post area are not shown again in the usual post flow below.

Hi James – It’s in your featured post section at the top. If you want it in the regular post flow below the featured posts, just edit it and remove the “featured” tag.
Incidentally, you need not put those posts in the “FEATURED POSTS” category, unless you just want to. It’s the “featured” tag that controls which posts are shown in that section.

I know it’s in the featured posts. I put it there because it’s important. But it looks like you are saying that if you write a post and you want to feature it then it doesn’t show as your latest post or in the post flow AT ALL???????????
I presume you are correct but where is the logic in that??
Not only don’t people see your latest post but there is then also no chronological post flow because featured posts are excluded.
In addition; any post that has been featured and tagged thus will disappear from view unless it is untagged. Am I right?

Hi James – Yes, that is the way 2014 works — the reason is so that the same post isn’t shown twice. The featured posts are displayed at the top, highlighting them, and the rest below.
If you remove it from the featured section, it drops back into the reverse-chronological post flow as it normally would be. And those posts still go out to subscribers in the same way as any post.
There isn’t any way to change that, but if you prefer for your most recent post to be at the top of your post flow, you could simply feature older posts that are already off the front page.
