Why is my new blog displaying incorrectly?
-
When I view my (new) blog title page I see parts of the two posts I’ve done so far, but they display only an image from each post with an “edit” option in the lower right corner of each.
When I “search” then I see my posts and pages. I created each post and then duplicated its contents in a page. However, instead of duplicate displays (post and page) one of them (post or page?) displays as I intended while the other shows the same oversize image that appears on the title page.
I am trying to simply have posts or pages follow one another in an infinite scroll but
I obviously do not understand what I’m doing. I’ve spent a lot of time on the support pages along with trying different options on my dashboard, but do not understand well enough to fix this myself. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Volunteers cannot view and help with private sites. Only Staff can do that. I tagged this thread for Themes Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. Note there is a backlog so you will have to wait patiently for Staff help. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Sorry about the private site. I only made it private because it seemed to be unprotected so that anyone viewing it could make editorial changes. I will change it back to public viewing and resubmit my question.
thank you… -
I have changed my blog from “private” to “public” so that anyone can view it. Here was my original problem/question:

Hi ekimyphrum,
This is actually not as big of a problem as it seems. You’ve just chosen a theme that doesn’t work the way you expect.
You can pick a theme that better meets your needs at the link below, or if you’d like a recommendation, give me a little more info on what you’d like your site to look like and I’ll give you a couple of good options.

Just to quell any fears, the edit link you see on your site only appears to you. No one else can edit your site from the front page.

THANK YOU listhefair.
I’m after a straightforward way to display posts so that one click would open and reveal the post. These posts will all feature a prominent visual image (or images).
I originally thought an infinite scroll of post after post in sequence would do the trick.
Now I realize that a “grid” or array of posts which the reader could navigate and then click on an individual post for viewing would perhaps be better.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you for offering. -
It sounds like Suburbia might do the trick. Let me know what you think.

Hey listhefair,
I’m playing with Suburbia now. It looks like a good choice.
Many thanks for the suggestion. -
