Why is my password not working?

I can easily log in to my wordpress account with my username and password, however when I click the WP admin link to either of my sites it asks me to log in again and will not accept my user name and password (or any variations I can think of).
I have tried the ‘forgotten password’ link and this only resets my main password and has no effect on me trying to log in to edit my website.
Is there a way of reseting the password for the WP admin? Help!

Your site emilyjenik.com is a self-hosted WordPress.org site. It uses an entirely different set of usernames and passwords from the WordPress.com account (which uses mlemleh).
Have you tried using this form instead?
http://www.emilyjenik.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpasswordWith any luck, your main username on that site should be ‘admin’. If you type ‘admin’ into the above form, you should get an email with the password required to log in.
