why is my photo gallery only updating on mobile view not desktop?

  I am currently updating and making some changes to my “Gallery” page. I can see on my mobile that the changes have been made but on my mac and if i switch my mobile to desktop view they changes don’t appear. I have had trouble with this in the past and the problem was not solved.
  Can anyone help??

  Hi there,

  That can sometimes happen if the older version of the page is saved or cached on your computer or mobile device. Can you please try clearing your browser cache?

  That will force your browser to refresh the page and get the most recent changes you made there. If that doesn’t fix the problem, please let me know what old photos are still appearing and what new photos aren’t appearing so I can take a closer look for you. :)

  Hi, thanks for taking a look. Yes, cache cleared several times and this has worked in the past but hasn’t worked for a while. I have also checked on two other computers and a scroll through gallery is still appearing. There should be four images labelled “weddings”, “engagements”, “portraits” and “maternity & newborn” now appearing – these then link to 4 separate galleries. As mentioned, this works correctly from a mobile device so that may be a good way to check/see the difference.

  Hi there,

  Thanks for explaining. The mobile theme you have activated for mobile devices doesn’t display theme-specific features, so it shows the four images you added to the page editor for the Gallery page. The desktop view, however, shows the Photographer theme’s special slideshow.

  If you want to disable that slideshow completely, so the four images you added to the page editor appear, you can change the page template in the page editor. In the Page Attributes module in the editor, under Template, you can change the page template from “Slideshow Page” to a different template (like the “Default Template”). That will remove the theme’s special slideshow that you’re seeing now.
