Why is my post hanging when I save?

Why is my post hanging when I save? It won’t let me publish the post either. It’s been hours, I’ve refreshed, cleared cache, retyped everything out, and it still won’t save it or publish it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There’s no known issue I am aware of.
In order to help you we need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.
5. Try using another browser.
6. If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(c) Exactly what you experience including what any error reports you receive state. -
hp2000 laptop Win 8.1 and Lian Li Custom tower running Linux Mint 16
Avast Antivirus(WordPress whitelisted)
FF ver. 29.0.1(which is listed as up to date)for windows, and I think 30
for Mint(I did this yesterday, and tried it in Windows thinking OS might have been the issue).
Flash and Java both are up to date.
ABPlus(disabled for WordPress) add-on
Before I made the post here, I tried clearing all cookies and cache and relogging in and retyping my post.What it keeps doing is when I go to publish my post, it hangs at the saving document point.
There are no error messages given. It just hangs there, so that the Publish post button is not accessible.
The posts total is slightly less than 500 words.
No other browser works properly on either PC. -

I’m not able to see a recent draft in your posts panel. Were you able to save a local copy of it? If so, could you kindly write a new post and save it as a draft? Alternately, you may set its visibility to private then publish it.

It hung up on saving, and after waiting a long time, I refreshed and tried to write it again, only to have the same issues.
I’ve never had issues with WordPress before, and well, I’m ashamed to say I have never saved my posts outside of it before. I lost everything.
Before trying to write it up again, I was trying to determine if I was the only one having issues posting.
Since this happened, I am going to try to make them up in an alternate program. -
