Why is my post not sticking above the other post, even if it's marked as sticky?
-
I use a page but not the start page as my blog. it works fine but – even if I have marked my “preface” blog article as sticky, it’s not showing as the very first article of the blogs page? why? And How can I make it show up always as the very first article even if there are new articles?
thanks KatharinaThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Katharina,
I see that the Blog link in your menu goes to a category page, showing only the posts in the Artikel category: http://primasige.net/category/artikel/
Sticky posts will only appear at the top of the page on your main blog page itself. Those posts won’t be sticky on category pages. If you’d like, you can set up a blog page with sticky posts in your blog’s reading settings.
To do that, you can go to Settings > Reading in your dashboard. In the “Front page displays” section under “A static page” you can select a page in the “Posts page” dropdown menu. That page will then be used to display the latest posts on your blog, with sticky posts at the top. (Be sure to click the Save Changes button when you’re done.)
Please let me know if you have any questions about that!
