Why is my posts’ titles for formatting ically on the visual editor and preview?
-
Right now I am using the Russell theme builder and I’ve had minor issues so far in using it. Today, I was trying to create my posts for my website and was noticing that when I was editing it and previewing it, it was showing the posts title and the text in a “vertical” format. I tried everything I could think of to fix it but the most common response or answer I was getting was that it must be a theme issue. I do not have plug-ins on my website either. I would hate to have to change my theme because I have liked it and spent so many hours making it the way I wanted. I would feel like all my hard work down the drain all because of some text and title format issues. Is there any way to fix this so that it formats properly?

Thanks for reaching out. This project is off to a great start. Have a look at the blog page on the Russel theme demo site: https://russelldemo.wordpress.com/blog/
That’s how your posts should look when you assign them to be published on a secondary page of the site. Most folks would call that page, “blog” and link it in the menu. Are you happy with that appearance? Right now your posts are being published on the front page of the site by default.
There’s a setting that will allow you to change where the posts get published.
This page outlines all the details about posts: https://wordpress.com/support/posts/
Double check if your browser is at max viewing capacity or full screen. I can’t quite tell from the screen shot. That could affect how you’re seeing things.
