why is my primary sidebar all of a sudden below my posts?

All of a sudden tonight my primary sidebar is showing up below my posts on my home page. If you click on a particular post, the sidebar is where it’s supposed to be. (on most posts anyway, not all of them.) I can’t figure out how to make the sidebar appear on the main page in the correct location.
This all of a sudden happened. Also with this, my site name and description was sll of a sudden showing up on top of my header image. I fixed this by delteing it from my info page, but I shouldn’t have to do that! I don’t know the correct fix for that either!
PLease help!!!!
