Why is my remote publishing not enabled and with no option to ENable?
-
My blog posting software is telling me I need to check the box for enabling remote posting… however that box is not showing in the writing settings where it should be.
Here is the message: please enable the check-box for XML-RPC in ‘Remote Publishing’ at http://millennialmarketers.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-writing.php
Can you think of what it is that is stopping me from using my precious management system?
Thanks a bunch
Aaron

XML-RPC is already enabled by default here at WordPress.com.
Make sure that you have the correct XML-RPC URL:

See here http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/ -
As you appear to be setting up a marketing blog you may not be aware of the restrictions on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
Due to your username choice I am posting the following information for you to consider.
There is no upgrade, aside from a VIP hosting upgrade http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ that you can purchase that allows blogger initiated advertising on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You will have to hire a web host and set up your own WordPress.org install to run your own advertising.
There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s for blogs on their own domains. Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds http://www.wordads.co/ no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs.
E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.com. Paid content and/or sponsored content is not allowed.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/If you do require an ecommerce site, advertising, affiliate links, paid or sponsored content you can hire a web host and get a free software install from http://wordpress.org

UPDATE – NEW PROB
now it is saying this:
Please check for plugins that might be blocking PageOne Curator (e.g. Bad Behavior plugin) -
I find it odd that there would be a reference to the Bad Behavior plugin unless you are referring to a self hosted WordPress.org blog, rather than this free hosted WordPress.com blog http://millennialmarketers.wordpress.com/
these are the plugins that are installed site wide for free hosted WordPress.com blogs http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/What is the URL of the blog you are referring to please?

I’ve seen the screenshot. What kind of software are you using to do remote posting?
Otherwise please use one of the known working applications at: http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/

I see. You might want to contact their support to ask why the xml-rpc isn’t working in their software. Otherwise I recommend using one of the known working applications mentioned in my previous reply.
Thank you.
