Why is my schedule post scheduling at the wrong time?

This is the second time in a row that my posts have not properly scheduled. My most recent one, I followed all of the instructions on the help page on how to edit the post time. It was showing that it would post at 1pm. And then I got a notice that it posted at 7am. The time before I followed the instructions to edit the publishing tab and when I did that, it automatically posted it before it was even done being written. I received a lot of emails about how I shouldn’t post unedited material. It was very embarrassing. Is there any way you all can fix this or make it more user friendly?

Are you sure your timezone is correctly set?
You can reset your date and timezone.The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. There you select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu and then click “save changes”.
Then go to > Dashboard > Posts > All Posts
hover over the title of your post and click the “edit” link.If you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog this is what you see here

Choose a city in the same timezone as you.

Can you confirm for me what time zone your in and which editor you were using to schedule your post? Can you also link me to the specific post you’re referencing?
