Why is my site name different from the one I purchased?

    I bought the site name cakewinslet.com. Why has it suddenly changed to ecstatic-cakewinslet.wordpress.com? What did I pay for? It’s a terrible website address.

    Hi there – While exploring different site names it looks like you may have unintentionally created several sites. But we can work on that later.

    For now your goal is to use the domain “cakewinslet.com” on a site here on your WordPress.com account.

    I noticed you connected the domain “cakewinslet.com” to your account. When you connect a domain it means you already own the domain through another provider and wish to connect it to a site you create here. My first questions is do you already own this domain through another provider, or, is your goal to purchase the domain today?
