Why is my site so sloooooow??

Since yesterday I have had real problems accessing my site, both from a search engine and from logging in from WordPress.com. Once I’ve logged in, I can’t access my posts (it’s still ‘loading’ and I clicked on the link five minutes ago) and the whole thing seems so slow it’s crazy. I’ve cleared the cache….what’s going on? Are there general technical problems with WordPress today? Every other site I’m accessing is absolutely fine and normal – it’s just WordPress that is slower than a three-legged turtle. Many thanks!

Hi Jordan – just to let you know others in UK are having problems too. So you may like to check ‘Unable-to-load-the-webpage-because-the-server-sent-no-data’ on Forums.

Thanks rjaybee…only just managed now to load this page to reply! I can’t access my dashboard or my site. The whole of wordpress seems slow but now my site is completely inaccessible. Nightmare because I had an important update to put on there today! Hopefully it’ll be sorted soon. Thanks for the heads-up.
