Why is my stats so low?
-
A few people reported a completely blank stats page before—I would like to look at that issue first.
Do you mean the stats are zero or the page content is completely missing?
What is the URL when you see that problem happening? Is it https://wordpress.com/my-stats/ or something different?
Can you please try clearing browser cache and reloading the stats page again (even if you’ve already done those steps before) as a troubleshooting step and reply back here saying you did those steps if you’re still having trouble after that? This will help rule out any local cache issues after recent updates (there have been a few updates and fixes already since this thread started).
If you are still seeing blank stats after clearing cache and re-loading the page, it would be helpful if one person could post an example screenshot of this showing the entire browser window so I can see what you are seeing.

For me personally, the stats pages is generally not opening up as if there is a problem on the server. Currently I have 13 visits today when by this time of day it should be around 150.
I will try it though.

For my blog, thebarnone.me, the stats page shows the correct amount of hits (I imagine) and the stats seem to be increasing regularly, but the little widget at the top of the Classic Dashboard is showing zero hits for the past 5-6 hours. I can post a screen shot if you like, but I’m not sure how to do it in this forum.
Thanks for your help!

All is well now on my blog.
I did have zero views on the classic stats page.
Had a blank page on the WP Stats page through Reader.
Hope it stays fixed.

The only place that shows hourly views, that I’m aware of, is the miniature 48 hour graph in the black toolbar displayed at the top of the front page, posts, pages, dashboard, and dashboard menu options.

I have got the same problem. WordPress is NOT counting my pageviews. What´s going on there!?

I would say that the problem is with UK page views not updating the stats, it is nothing to do with clearing the cache, I have tried it in a variety of different browsers and alternative devices.
It is a big problem that needs fixing.
A third party counter is registering 4 times as many page views as the WordPress stats page.
Hope you can get it fixed soon! -

The stats are counting very slowly and far too less pageviews. Absolutely crazy.
And as far as I am concerned, this is not something that happened today. The problem alreaydy exists a few weeks. Please, can I get help from a technician from WordPress or can they fix the problem as soon as possible?!

I deleted by cache, this time the stats page did load up slowly. The figures aren’t updating though. I had a comment left on my new post 20 minutes ago and that particular visit isn’t showing up.

It is not only an English problem. My website is situated in the Netherlands. I have got the same problem here. And not only today. I noticed the problem already a few weeks ago. Very irritating and I hope the problem will be fixed very soon.
I don´t now where my WordPress site is hosted. Probably in England!?E.J. Bron

I have a difference between the stats gadget and stats page, one counts 534, the other counts 193 (and backwards) independent side stats count 2300 which is more like it.

I think you’re referring to the sparkline, which is the tiny 48-hr line graph for stats that appears in the gray toolbar in the wp-admin dashboard. It looks to me like there might be a little lag right now but the stats catch up after a few hours. Could you please try the cache clearing troubleshooting step and let me know if the sparkline looks different to you after that?

For two days (48 hours) beginning late on 3 December my daily traffic ran at roughly 80% of the normal rate for the previous three weeks. However, about 5-6 hours ago they really plummeted, and the hourly bars are almost too small to detect on the mini bar graph for the past three hours. Instead of a bar, I have a dot for each of the past three hours.

Actually I´ve got 1400 pageviews. Normally at this time of day about 7000!!!

musicdoc1, looks like there are several different issues being reported in one thread, which makes it confusing to follow when trying to help :) so I would like to get specifics whenever possible. When I asked for the URL, I was referring to the problem people reported when they said the stats page was blank. A stats page sounds like something other than the sparkline.
