Why does my sticky post appear underneath the latest post?

  I want my Gallery post to be at the top but the latest post goes above it all the time even though I have made the gallery sticky.

  Hi there,

  From what I can see, your News page only shows one post at a time. In order to have a sticky post appear on your News page, you will need to show more than one post at a time.

  You can change this by going to your Dashboard > Settings > Reading:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/reading-settings/
