Why is my "Upcoming Events" Widget showing the wrong timezone?

  My upcoming events widget is showing the wrong time zone, It is off by four hours. I checked both Google calendar and WordPress settings and both are set correctly. The calendar feeds in correctly where I embedded it into the site, it just gets messed up in the widget. Please advise.

  The site is not self-hosted if that info is applicable. Thanks.

  Hi there,
  The default timezones is UTC time. Did you check to be sure your own timezone is correct here? > Settings > General

  Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see on the General Settings page and then click “save changes”.

  Thanks. The timezone is correct in both Google Calendar and WordPress. I tried the the trick where you select a nearby city rather than the GMT and it still did not feed through correctly. Any other ideas?
