Why is my video suddenly 1 second long?

I bought the upgrade so that I would be able to post video material on my blog, so far I’ve uploaded one video that is supposed to be around 3-4 minutes long but after uploading it and trying to play it all I get is a 1 second window with nothing but darkness before the WordPress logo pops up.
What might be causing this?

I never uploaded any videos on my blog because the one I actually did upload and publish on my blog (briefly) was only (as stated before) a second long.
I’ve demanded my money back now however since I can’t deal with this right now. But I will most likely use it later on this year, so I’d still love to know what the issue might be.
When I had uploaded the video (took about an hour) it was first processed for a little bit and then I could see the screenshot taken from the middle of the vid. But when I pressed “play” all that showed was a black screen and later the WordPress logotype.

If you ever try again and run into the same problem, please leave the video in your media library so we can investigate the problem.

I have a question, if there is copyright material in the video such as a song for example. Is there a chance that the video with that song might be disabled somehow?
Since I work a lot with gaming material such as trailers, gameplay videos and such when creating my videos in Sony Vegas. To these I often use material that might be copyrighted (mostly songs).
The group I used for this one is an Indie one, so it shouldn’t have been a problem unless they got signed between me making the video and posting it here.

It won’t be automatically disabled, but it is a violation of copyright, which is also a violation of our terms of service and grounds for suspension.

Really? Wow… that’s kinda funny since when I bought the Video Upgrade it didn’t say anything, anywhere about not uploading copyrighted material.
If there is such information when one upgrades the account I sure didn’t see it, I wouldn’t have bought it if I had since I know what type of videos I work with.
Anyway, thanks for the information, I´ll just skip the Video Upgrade fully then since I don’t feel like being suspended.
