Why is my Website Suspended and asking me to Update to Jetpack 3.3

    Our website is showing as suspended. When I look on the home page, it is telling me I need to update to Jetpack 3.3. I see other people have this problem and a staff person went in and deleted out of date software. americanwaterdamage.com. This is a second request. My private request was ignored

    Hi!

    First, regarding your private support request, it wasn’t ignored. We try to answer requests as soon as possible, but I’m afraid we weren’t able to get to it yet. I’ll go ahead and close that request with a link back here. Please keep all further requests in this thread.

    I believe this is two separate issues. The account suspension appears to be through GoDaddy. Have you checked with their support team regarding the issue? Since your site is self-hosted, we wouldn’t be able to suspend your site.

    Regarding the Jetpack upgrade, this is a normal upgrade to the Jetpack plugin. You should be able to update this through Plugins -> Installed Plugins from your self-hosted Dashboard.

    I spoke with GoDaddy yesterday and the account on their side is fine. They told me to contact you. I see other people having the same problem, and the engineer removed something to get it working again.

    Ok. So now I went to update jetpack. It asked me to log in, and now it is saying 403 Forbidden. Please Advise.

    It definitely looks like something odd is happening with your Jetpack connection. Can you please try deactivating and deleting Jetpack entirely, and then trying to reinstall it?

    To remove Jetpack, you can FTP into your site and delete the folder wp-content/plugins/jetpack (If you’re not sure how to do this, ask your hosting company for help.)

    After that’s done, you can reinstall Jetpack by following these instructions:
