Why is my Xanga import failing?

  My Xanga files are not importing to my WordPress account. I have successfully done this before, but now it’s not working. I get an alert in my email that the imports are successful, but no new posts display on my dashboard. The importing files are in the correct format (.xml) and I have tried using both Chrome and Firefox.

  Hi there!

  I don’t see a stalled import on your site. Make sure you import one file at a time. When you get the option to select files, selecting multiple files really only selects the last file.

  You can also try using the WordPress importer instead of the Xanga one.
