Why is new post not displayed in reader under "meditation"?
-
My latest blog post is not displayed in the reader under “Meditation” which is its primary tag. I read and went over the tips given in “Get Your Content to Appear in Tags”. I have not overtagged nor do I have mature content.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have Tags and Categories using the same word ie. Meditation. Use only one or the other please. Search engines treat all Tags and Categories exactly the same way and if you use the same word as both a Tag and a Category you appear to be spamming.

So far the Reader has not posted my new post under any of its Tags or Categories. Seems bizarre as the content is not controversial or “mature”.
Thank you for your help. I’ll check back with the Reader in an hour or so. -
Also I looked at the title and the tag of my previous post “Moon Anomalies” and this is what I got off Reader: “Don’t see any posts under the tag you searched for? That’s because there are no posts with that tag yet; maybe you should write the first one.”
Well actually I clearly already did write one. I guess I have a BIG problem that goes beyond this one post. -
If you are the ONLY person using a tag or category, no global tag page is generated for that.

Thanks raincoaster, I did not know that. I still haven’t figured out why my posts are not picked up in Reader.

Hi there,
I just fixed your blog so it will appear on the tag pages in the Reader. If you still don’t see your posts in the Reader, you may need to refresh your browser or clear your browser’s cache. Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)

Wow! Rachel, many thanks. I guess my only question is to ask, what shouldn’t I do so this does not happen again? I am now aware about the limits on Tags/Categories. I deeply appreciate your help.

As long as you follow the guidelines listed on our Tags in the Reader help page, your posts will continue to be posted in the Reader. :)
